I never expected this formula to be so good. It goes to show what a genius perfumer can create. I feel very fortunate that Filipe’s formulas like this one are available to experience. If you know and like the D. Homme line, this is a formula to make. It’s the real thing.

    Another solid formula

This smells rich, full, and very similar (if not spot on) to D. Homme Parfum. Highly recommended!

    Interesting Formula!

This formula is high quality and interesting to review. There are many beautiful ingredients including a very expensive one. But thankfully Filipe suggested cheaper alternatives.

I appreciate your review, but I don’t limit the ingredients of my formulas by cost; I try to make them as accurate as possible! Exaltone is indeed found in the original perfume, and it’s up to the customer to use it or replace it according to your budget/availability. 😉

Right now, I am waiting for maceration, already the juice seems quite close to the current version. What I found/interesting/puzzling that I did not find any indication what is responsible for the leathery aspects of the scent, which I can pick up in thew OG product. Quite frankly I was expecting a straightforward leather base in the formula, like suederal for example. It remains to be seen what I will pick up in 2 – 3 weeks after some “ripening” of the concoction. Thanks.
