One of the difficulties with musks is that they are so familiar that it is hard to stand out (unless you go the route of Musks Koublai Khan – which is definitely a route worth exploring – Filipe, take note 😉 And C.’s approach with their Exclusifs range is exactly that – take a category, and define it not by re-writing the rules of it but by establishing the perfect example that stands out as role-model that almost touches the uncanny valley of being too perfect. This is it for musks: a slight powdery nuance, a minuscule amount of fruitiness, a gorgeous iris dusting – all on a bedding of musky cloud. Excellent!
