This special base starts with a very diffusive green cognac note, followed by a delicate nutty/floral/raspberry body and a powerful distinctive fruity-musk drydown. Small amounts can enhance any fragrance from start to finish, larger amounts can add shine to top notes, drastically improve volume and tenacity. The odor is similar to the very expensive Absolute, however, this base is not a direct replacement.
Our realistic interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc white-wine grape is sharp, green, juicy, alcoholic / cognac like and slightly sweet. This base is very different from the Vitis vinifera EO and the wine, more like the real fruit / plant headspace. Powerful top to middle note, recommended smelling at 50% or less.
Inspired by the Paeonia lactiflora ‘Morning Kiss’ headspace analysis, this peony is a beautiful double pink-white flower with ruffled inner petals. The odor has a pleasant transparent / rosy / dewy character with fresh geranium-grapefruit nuances. Very special and delicate fragrance! Top to middle note with good diffusion.
This rich base is the perfect replacement for the expensive Osmanthus fragrans absolute. It reproduces all facets: the floral, honeyed apricot/plum, woody, lactonic/waxy, animalic/musky, leathery and smoky nuances. Very strong, use sparingly! The smell of osmanthus may not be pleasant for everyone and it’s best used in trace amounts, recommended smelling at 20% or less. Top/Middle/Base note.
Kingwood is a classic furniture wood, almost exclusively used for inlays on very fine furniture. It is yielded by a smallish tree, Dalbergia cearensis, restricted to a small area in Brazil. Created around Ambrocenide + Symroxane, this accord tries to reproduce its odor: intense ambery, slightly sweet/fruity and velvety wood.
A simplified accord of our iconic Sylvione base. This minimalist version is even stronger, highly diffusive, full-bodied, velvety, dry woody, ambery, musky floral like the original base, but less complex. It enhances virtually any fragrance type. Recommended usage is up to 40%, but works great in small amounts too.
This Galbanum Accord is more rounded, fruity and less sharp than Galbanum EO. Can be used in higher amounts for an outstanding green galbanum effect from top to base, great in fougeres. Top to middle to base note with good diffusion and volume. (this is not a direct replacement for the EO)
