I finally had the chance to get all the ingredients and make a more precise version of this formula. I stand by the opinion that the basic structure is on point, but I think there’s something important missing from top to middle, I don’t know what it is. In the original it’s like an herbaceous, tea like note, more sparkling and fruity, that beautifully contrasts the base notes and stays for a while. Initally I thought it came from the mix of damascones and clary sage, but I don’t think it’s just that. The basic sandalwoods are a more present in this formulation and kinda cover part of the opening with an eccessive strange sweetness, at least this is how I percieve it. Drydown is better, when the initial gap vanishes the fragrance became way better, but still I think something must be revised, especially in the top to middle section and I suspect also in the sandalwood base.

After immediately making this, I was a bit disappointed. It smelled great, but differed meaningfully from the original. After a few months, I took my blend back out and tested it. WOW. Something about this juice aging, it has balanced and smoothed out into a beautiful fragrance that is quite close to the original.
