I made the formula exactly as the great Felipe did, and the result is spectacular! The only thing I didn’t have was Assafi oud, but I created a subtle accord with Maleki oud, Samrat oud, and synthesized oud, which may achieve the same strength and aroma as Assafi. I substituted Jamaican rum with Caribbean-style CO2 extract rum (Martinique) + 0.02% prenyl acetate (for a fruity touch) + 0.01% Davana oil. I replaced the Decyl Acetate with an accord of: 0.02% hexyl acetate + 0.01% phenoxyethyl isobutyrate + 0.20% C12 mNa aldehyde (1%). Comparing this formula to the original perfume, I would say it’s about 96% similar, with subtle nuances detectable only by very discerning noses! A perfect formula and a fragrance to wear on elegant occasions and make a statement! Thank you so much!
