The scent is fresh-citrusy with marine notes and for some people a distinct cucumber note

Not as long lasting as I imagined (diluted at 12%) but overall an outstanding rendition of the fresh citrus floral original. I can’t wait for spring and summer when this will be a daily wear!

I tested the original a few years ago and I remember I liked it a lot. From memory I would say that this formula faithfully reproduces the original, the fragrance is fresh with citrus notes, a touch of iris and a beautiful marine note. I must say that all these formulas are really interesting to study and to learn the art of perfumery.

I own the current version of creed MI and the older version. With C-F reformulation done in June 2022 they got closer to the older MI batch. It is a very good formula with improved balance and dry down. I created the formula without an aroma chemical which is very expensive and substituted with a different ionone. The original creative-formula of MI felt unbalanced and the use of tangerinol left a scent of wet dog which was very unpleasant, I’m glad it was removed.

This formula is very good. I think the key is the beautiful musk accord and the slight aquatic touch. Together with the citruses the fragrance comes together as very pleasing and easy to wear. I am going to scale this one up now for friends and family.

Fruits, fresh, ocean vibe. I would say a mix between white grappe and mango, something like that, veeeeery adictive.
A bit surprised by the lack of absolutly any marin molecules so I put a bit of calone 10% dilluted, and traces of cascalone, algenone and cucumber aldehyde. The result is fantastic !
The ionones bring a sweet support and are not overpowering despite the amont.
I assume the salty side comes with the high amount of Bergamote and dhm. I used a pure natural calabrian bergamot eo.
Simple formula to blend, à true banger !
