Blended this at 100g and 20% concentration. The opening is bright and juicy — lots of Sicilian lemon, bergamot, and mandarin giving a fresh citrus hit. The base is musky and smooth, with Galaxolide, Exaltolide, and Tonalid giving good longevity and softness.
Compared to the original Renaissance, this version feels slightly more citrus-dominant and less green or aldehydic in the opening. The original has a dry, airy sparkle that mine doesn’t quite capture yet — but it’s still very wearable, and the transition into the heart is clean and pleasant.
The liquid is cloudy, which is expected at this stage due to natural oils and musks. I haven’t made any adjustments yet — letting it macerate for now to see how it evolves. Could be a great base to tweak further depending on how the top settles.
