Well, I’ve just mixed it; it’s been two days and is still maturing (I haven’t added the alcohol yet—I’ll let it mature for at least a week, followed by a month of maceration), but I can already draw some conclusions:
It smells delicious—feminine, sexy, powdery, floral, and gourmand.
I’m certain it will be even better once it has macerated.
Since the formula contains quite a few captive ingredients, I made the following substitutions:
– Georgywood -> Timbersilk
– Methyl Laitone -> 15g Methyl Laitone (10% in DPG) + 1.5g Coumarin
– Rosyfolia -> 0.90g Geraniol + 0.04g Pear Ester + 0.06g Methyl Cinnamate
– Petalia -> 0.40g Peonile + 0.10g Magnolan + 0.06g Hedione + 0.04g Rhodinol
– Akigalawood -> 0.16g Clearwood + 0.04g Black Pepper Essential Oil
– Pomarose -> 0.03g alpha-Damascone + 0.02g beta-Damascone + 0.02g delta-Damascone
Given that I don’t have PURE Methyl Laitone and had to add 13.5g of DPG, I’m going to dilute the mixture to 38–40% to let the final perfume breathe.
That’s all for now; I could have perhaps refined it a bit more, but it’s still a spectacular feminine fragrance!
I’ve shared my little adjustments for anyone who might need help regarding ingredient availability; I hope this has been useful, and I look forward to seeing your results once you have it ready!
Thanks, Filipe, for your excellent work! Please bring us more top-tier niche formulas!
Best regards.
