The original is, first and foremost, a wonderful perfume. In fact, it is almost a non-perfume. A realistic smell. It could have been a candle, an incense stick, or a home fragrance. Definitely a formula meant to transport the wearer to a realistic, 360º forest. Meditative. Bold. But as I said, almost not a perfume.
This CF formula achieves a very similar result, probably 99% in the drydown, but it fails very slightly in the opening. It reveals the aromatic herbal side that creates the illusion of burning wood, of a campfire, which the original has. Like a magician accidentally showing the hidden card up his sleeve. In the opening, thyme comes out first, then nutmeg, and the clove is completely exposed. For some reason, this gives a few seconds of “kitchen ingredients” before the long-awaited ancient forest arrives.
Beyond that, I learned a lot from this formula. I love the result, and it will be part of many realistic forest accords for me from now on. 5/5.

The mid way and finish of this formula is 90% similar to the original one, however, the opening is slightly different, maybe due to difference between organic material. Overall it is a very good formula
