This accord was developed to enhance other incense ingredients (such as frankincense, elemi, myrrh, benzoin, styrax, etc). It combines exceptionally well with terpene-rich extracts like Olibanol, Elemi Oil, Frankincense Oil, and CO2.
One of the most important ingredients in this formula is Elemol ex Elemi, which, along with Oxyoctaline Formate and Aldehyde C12 MNA, enhances the incense effect. If you cannot find this ingredient, replace it with Olibanum Resinoid.
As a middle/base note, its effect is more noticeable on the skin than when it is smelled from the bottle. The recommended usage is 0.1-5% for most compositions and up to 50% for those focused on incense and oriental notes.

Amazing, dense, extraordinarily intense but also carries/boosts everything along with it – doesn’t drown out, but floats things on top of it. Lasts approximately forever, as you might expect. Not sure how to characterise it except as a blindingly impactful woody-musky-accord with the high sinus impact that makes it seem incensey. This is a must have accord, imho – used in trace it does wonderful things, or can be increased to be a loadbearing material.
