First impression after mixing: this smells the same as the original (maybe the vintage one?), fantastic!
Except my mixture is slightly different because I’ve added some small amount of Costus root oil, Phenyl acetic acid and Civet abs.
This formula is great for experimenting.

Excellent formula that is Kouros as you know it.
If you are wanting to make it more vintage (1981 to 1986 era) then replace the Oakmoss + Evernyl for Oakmoss Absolute (the pure non-IFRA variety if you have it) to really give it the power and longevity of the old formula.
Civet Abs plus Castoreum really adds the animalic undertone but isn’t entirely necessary; if you do add them back in then use a light touch. Vintage Kouros was clean and balanced, not the complete dirty animal some people believe.

This is an outstanding interpretation of Kouros. I would say it is drier though than the current formula at least the batch I mixed. I think the addition of some civet might rectify this, but it is really fantastic the way it is. Also, the longevity even at 10% is amazing. Thanks Creative Formula.
