Quite an interesting formula with some ingredients I had never seen before, so I had to make a few substitutions. I didn’t have Lovage Leaf or Fenugreek CO₂ Extract, which are probably here to support the green nuance of Levistamel, but it still turned out great. I also couldn’t get Vert de Citron, so I used Citroasis Base instead. Fir Balsam Absolute → Fir Balsam Oliffac. As for the Paradisone + Hedione parts, I simply substituted them with Hedione HC.
This is probably one of the best modern citrus colognes that showcases what a great White Musk accord should be. The composition obviously includes Ch***l’s signature thing – aldehydes, and the formula aptly shows the right amount of them. The clean musky base connects with the aldehydes in the top, creating this illusion of infinite freshness and cleanliness.
This was also the first time I used Geranium Absolute, which gave the concentrate a green, almost magical color and a lychee nuance in the heart. Despite not having a huge amount of Ambroxan, the composition has excellent longevity even at a low concentration. I highly recommend using the best quality Lemon you can get, as this cologne relies heavily on it.
Thank you, Filipe, for interpreting this fragrance. This is my favorite Allure Homme flanker, and I’m very happy I was able to recreate it so successfully. Would love to see more citrus-based fragrances, especially classics from the past like DHS 2008 or Code Sport
