This a great formula to have if you want to master the green fig leaf. The original is a bit less green and tends to go into the sweet quickly. However, this formula can be easily changed to add those sweet, fruity, or green notes.

The epitome of fig note in fine fragrances, and here the big learning would be how Iso E Super blends in and provides an open canvas to whatever added on top. When smelling the finished product, one would not pinpoint the amount of Iso E Super used, which is the beauty of this legendary ingredient. The behavior of other ingredients seemingly in low doses was also a joy to experience, such as Coriander EO. Top analysis!

I haven’t smelled the original in a few years but I used to wear it a lot. From what I recall this is extremely close to the original. I remembered it a bit more dark and woody but it is a beautiful fragrance. If you love fig perfume this is a great formula to get. It is also very interesting to study the fig accord that is different from other fig accord I have analyzed before. Great job! Very very close to the original. Might just be a mater of time and maceration.
