Although I made many changes and substitutions, it smells very similar, if not the same, and slightly stronger than the original. I’m sure when the formula is entirely followed with no substitutions it would smell completely the same with beastly performance. Very well done and I appreciate all of your hard work.

Great opportunity to learn from the master Elena. Again with this formula very interesting to see it basically contains 50% of one type of material and many lower and trace amount materials that work as modifiers. I had to replace at least 10 materials and even then it smells super close to the original which I own myself. Thanks Filipe!

Fresh and prominent dry green notes surrounded by bitter citrus, spicy dry roots and a slightly fruity note supported by amber woods. Very good smell and well balanced fragrance.

Great formula of a grand perfume. It smells very close to the original even though I made a few substitutions. I always loved this perfume and now I can finally see how it is constructed. Great work Filipe !

Ich mochte diesen Duft von Anfang an. Hatte ihn mir selber 2-3 mal gekauft.
Diese Formel, ist dem Original so nah, daß ich sie nur empfehlen kann. ☺️

If you love Terre d’Hermes pure Perfume, you can blend it with this formula. You will not be dissapointed.
Very interesting to see the structure, let it mature for 2 weeks before adding the ethanol.

I’m still new at this hobby. This formula was excellent practice work~ It’s woody, clean, fresh, and a bit spicy. I love how the woody citrus unite with the earthiness and clean vibe. I’d like to comment on the geranium bourbon oil in this formula. Never been a big fan of geranium or its constituents until smelling GB oil for the first time. Geranium bourbon oil is sweeter, has rosy undertones, and more complex compared to Egyptian geranium oil. Aromatically, it vaguely suggests to me rose essential oil. I find the geranium bourbon oil is not too harsh (terpenic) like some others. Filipe is really surprising me with the productivity and the selection we have. Thanks. Having a deep inventory of formulas to select from gives you the opportunity to choose a formula that you are absolutely in love with, rather than one you’re just “meh, it’s okay, we can just go on a date or two.” I am more curious now about the parfum version now. These are absolutely great for learning.

Good Formula. I already had a high quality analysis of an older version (2015) and bought this one to see a different perspective on how to mix all the naturals. The formula is really close and has almost all the materials that my analysis has. For the Vetiver I used a mix of Vetiver Haiti SFE and Vetiverol extra. Standard Vetiver didn’t work for me. Also for the Cedar I used the super rectified Cedar from Firmenich. One thing I doubt in this formula ist the huge amount of Karanal. It is way too high dosed and I can’t smell it in the original. Otherwise really good interpretation.
One thing that I would add also in the formula is Ethylhexyl Salicylate. It is a UV-Stabilizer that actually has a nice scent (like sunscreen). You can also see on the packaging of TDH, that it is listed in the ingredients. My analysis says 0.41%.
