Rich, caramel-like, lactonic, waxy, powdery/sweet odor of new mown hay with a warm herbal and soft tobacco-like undertone; long-lasting middle to base note. A powerful mixture that is easier to use than the natural Absolute, very effective at trace amounts in almost any fragrance but it has a special synergy with Lavender, Olibanum, Oakmoss and Patchouli. Recommended dilution: 50%.

This is much more affordable than Tonka absolute a pretty darn close to the real thing. I made some omissions and subbed out one of the lactones to make a Tonka note that was more creamy than nutty. I am very pleased with the result. This formula pointed me in the right direction.
