Vetiver is a tough material to balance right – this here is not about balancing as much as creating an extension, smoothing the edges and making this feel like you are smelling of forest and not of ashtray. And mission accomplished. Great formula! Love it!

Vetiver is not an easy material to treat, especially looking at the history of perfumery and how many scents based on vetiver have been created. Here we are faced with a really interesting formula, with an olfactory yield different from all the best known “Vetiver” fragrances. I am very familiar with Gray Vetiver and this formula faithfully reproduces it. I have prepared two batches of this perfume, one with a very good Haitian Vetiver, pure, integral (unbleached, not terpeneless, not rectified), the other with Vetiver SFE (Firmenich). Well, the results are incredibly good in both cases. Great job Filipe!

I made a small batch of this formula and went to the store to compare it to the real Grey Vetiver. Its spot-on identical. I’ve used this as a learning experience for me when blending vetiver as others have said. It really shows how much you can use within your own formula all while still being able to balance it as a powerful fragrance note. Well done

Lovely formula! I have mixed v2 and v3 and I must say that v3 is indeed on another level when it comes to similarity to the original perfume. Highly recommended if you enjoy Grey Vetiver edp! Such a wonderful insight into your favourite juice!

I usually try new formulas primarily to learn something. This one (3.0) I made simply because I love the original fragrance and I want to be able to recreate it for regular use. I was not disappointed! The formula is just perfect. It came out with the same smooth, well blended character as the original, but actually with some more depth and character. I love it and I wear it regularly.

TF fragrances are easier to blend, and this is no exception. A great learning opportunity for vetiver-ionone effects.
